Layout Nodes

Shortcut (Nodegraph Only): Shift + Q + Mouse Mouse Left




Layout Nodes is a modification of Mari's default 'Autoplace' Function (Hotkey L)

Layout Nodes is also available in the Mouse Movement based Align & Distribute feature






The Layout Nodes functionality allows you to layout upstream nodes into tidy, structured columns. 

If Multi-Channel Merge nodes exist in your complex Node Graph, they act as a visual backbone.


If nodes are selected, only those selected nodes will be moved. 


If only one node is selected all upstream nodes of the current selection will be laid out


If no nodes are selected, all nodes outside of backdrops in the current nodegraph are laid out


If one or multiple nodes inside a backdrop is selected, only nodes in the backdrop are laid out.
Other than Mari's Autoplace, the Size of the Backdrop will remain unchanged
